Evening of Elegance
The Evening of Elegance Gala is a fundraising event sponsored by Precious Pearls Foundation in collaboration with Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated, Psi Beta Zeta Chapter, Southaven, MS. Identifying there was a disparity in opportunities for minorities, including scholarships and social programs, thus the Evening of Elegance was born to fulfill this void. This event began as a small reception dinner program with 100 people in attendance but has grown into a black-tie formal event that averages 225 in attendance. The purpose of the Evening of Elegance Gala is to provide an avenue to highlight the accomplishments of the community through service awards and raise funds, which proceeds are designated to impact students, seniors, and community members.

Building Futures
The secondary purpose of the event is to spotlight past scholarship recipients who have transitioned to their freshman year in college. Their stories are told through the spoken word or written word. The community has the opportunity to see how our scholarship dollars are making differences in the lives of those in the north Mississippi area.
